Instructional Chukkas
Time: each chukka is 7 to 12 minutes long. You can play from 1 to 6 instructional chukkas at a time.
Cost: Pony hire per chukka is £60.
Availability: individual or group of up to 6 people. Some polo experience is necessary.
Description: your teammates and opposition will be organised to provide a level that is not too fast and insure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. The chukkas will be stopped from time to time so the instructors can explain the right thing to do at certain times.
Rules:
Maximum weight: 14 stones. All riders will be weighted prior to their lessons or beach rides.
Equipment: all riders shall wear appropriate footwear with suitable heal for riding. Appropriate footwear is available for hire upon request for £5.
A mallet and a fully approved and certified standard helmets will be provided at no extra cost for those who do not have their own helmet. If you are bringing your own helmet it must be an approved standard PAS015.
